According to the formal statement, "A strange encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden cult.
The mission centers on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Bonus Content
Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an unique katana in addition to multiple objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
